OBJECTIVE OF COURSE

The primary objective of this course is to teach students the Roads and Drainage tools of Autodesk Infraworks

AGENDA

Understanding InfraWorks Roadway Design – Rule-Based Design, Profiles, Intersections, Sight Distance
Analysis, import/ export
Designing Roads – Design Roads, Edit graphically/with Gizmos, Styles, Lanes, Grading, profile view edit,
intersections, swept path, lane markings
Advanced functions – profile optimisation, sight distances, Generate Civil 3D Drawings, traffic modeling
Drainage – pipes and structures, rules, watershed analysis, culvert design, drainage networks.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Technicians & engineers who undertake pre liminary road and/ or drainage design and wish to conceptual 3D models and visualisations for site, area planning & infrastructure

PREREQUISITES

Students should have some experience of Infraworks or undertaken the Infraworks Essentials 1-day course plus a working knowledge of a CAD application such as AutoCAD and of Microsoft® Windows® 7, 8 or 10.
